iTunes is offering to install an update on my computer, which it says is 60 megabytes in size.
Lets say the version I already have installed is 100mb, if I update, will the itunes now take up 160mb, or will the extra 60 just replace old/used space ??

I am a network engineer that hasn't configured a router in about six months and since I got back in the game it seems they have changed things. I recently got my company a fiber internet connection and they sent me the IP configuration information and I have to say I am a bit lost. What does it mean when they send you The IP address at your interface needs to be IP x.x.x.x/30 (x=ip address) for the IP address to assign to your interface? Please help!!!

I suddenly out of nowhere lost my internet connection (university LAN), but I still can connect to computers on my residential network through my network places. I tested the internet connection and it works for other computers, so no problem there. Also there is no software problem because I reformated the computer and installed the network card drivers fresh and the problem is still there.

The only thing left I suppose is a problem with the network card. Is it possible that they can go bad and lose internet connectivity but allow connection to other computers in the network?

I've had the computer for 6 months and have had no trouble with games or anything else. Recently I got the demo for crysis (a pc game). At first I could play it as long as I wanted with no problems.

But today I tried to play it and the computer turned itself off after about 20 minutes two times in a row.

I have exceeded the minimum requirements to play the game and I am running it on the game's suggested settings. I just don't understand why It turns itself off. Is it overheating or something?

Is there any way I can figure out what is wrong with my computer? If the specs of my computer are need they are as follows:

P5N32-E motherboard
C2D 2.4 ghz processor
2GB's of ram
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb

There are so many sites that will let you have a www.com website and I don't even know where to begin! I've heard good things about godaddy.com, but I took one look at the website, and I hate dealing with too much information. Is all the hype for real? I know i'll have to pay for whatever I choose, but it's cool because this is a serious thing and i've already figured out the domain name I want isn't taken or registered yet.. but it wouldn't be because it's my name. I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Any suggestions? Serious people please. There's too many immature little kids out there who get off on acting like smartasses and there's too many people out there who think they know what they're talking about and do it in a rude way. Ok here is my question, I have a 7900 gs AGP video card, I know, I Know I need to upgrade unfortunately my wife and money wont allow, listen I just got this video card, I went from a fx 5200 ultra. Anyway back to the question. I need a better way to cool it, to hold me over till I have money to completely upgrade EVERYTHING. I have been looking at zalman and thermaltake and different companies, but I just took my stock fan and heatsink off and the chip isnt in the middle like I have seen most applications it is to the far right side of the card with another chip in the middle at the bottom of the card. My fear is that any coolers I get will not fit because there designed for chips in the middle of the card and what do I do about that chip toward the lower end of the card. I NEED A COOLING METHOD, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Few days ago my computer started making a loud noise and I thought maybe it was a dust build up in the fan.
Tried blowing air through cabinet. It's o.k. at the moment but was noisy when I turned it on this morning.
What could make a computer noisy like this. Can someone invade the system with a bug of some kind and make it run too fast or something with a programm control or something?
(maybe this is a really dumb question) seems like if the fan was broken it would keep making the noise and not go on an off. Can anyone help please?

hi kind ppl of the world... i have a critical situation..

i've accidentally deleted files with important data... and i already emptied my recycle bin.. im running on vista.. i did try some freeware like recuva etc but most of this softwares did not give me results.. even when it gives results and i try to open an excel file, it gives me a lot of nonsense symbols etc.. pls help to those who are once in my position... pls!!!!!
