pls help me.. need to recover lost data?

hi kind ppl of the world... i have a critical situation..

i've accidentally deleted files with important data... and i already emptied my recycle bin.. im running on vista.. i did try some freeware like recuva etc but most of this softwares did not give me results.. even when it gives results and i try to open an excel file, it gives me a lot of nonsense symbols etc.. pls help to those who are once in my position... pls!!!!!

If the rocevoery tools return garbage it means the files are non recoverable.

Restore these "important files" from yoru backups . . . You DO copy files to CD / DVD from time to time in case of problems don't you ?

OH no...I can understand how you feel. What you can do is to bring the hard disk to a IT service shop. Try looking IT Service in 88db. They have a list there. Maybe they can help with the recovering of you lost information. Hope this helps...
