I have a firewall in the router. How would I find out.? (I access a site and I'm not sure about their ethics) they use java applications. Is there a test to find out?

Yes they can invade your computer. however loud noises coming from your fan means you need to service your computer. how long has it been since someone has cleaned your computer. You should clean the dirt/dust out of your computer every 6 months. There are a lot of utilities that will tell you how fast your fan is turning and the internal temperature of your computer. Mine runs at 30 to 35 degrees centigrade. heat will kill your computer!!!

Yes, it's possible that someone can tampered or access your systems if you are connected in the net or networking. Specially if you dont have firewall install in your computer. But in physical hardware is not possible.

Yes they can invade any ones computer. No to my understanding so far they can not have your fan make noise. Shut it down possibly but it sounds like your fan may be going bad.

Well I guess if someone installed a trojan that turns up your processor fan speed, but I really doubt someone would do that to mess with your fan. They would more likely be stealing your info. Your fan may sometimes get louder because modern motherboards turn up the fan when the CPU gets hot.

It is possible for someone to tamper with your computer remotely, but I don't think that's what is happening...
