Ok here is my question, I have a 7900 gs AGP video card, I know, I Know I need to upgrade unfortunately my wife and money wont allow, listen I just got this video card, I went from a fx 5200 ultra. Anyway back to the question. I need a better way to cool it, to hold me over till I have money to completely upgrade EVERYTHING. I have been looking at zalman and thermaltake and different companies, but I just took my stock fan and heatsink off and the chip isnt in the middle like I have seen most applications it is to the far right side of the card with another chip in the middle at the bottom of the card. My fear is that any coolers I get will not fit because there designed for chips in the middle of the card and what do I do about that chip toward the lower end of the card. I NEED A COOLING METHOD, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The stock cooler is fine... don't waste your money on aftermarket coolers that you don't need.

Unless your having temperatures over what is considered usual, I would not bother. Use Everest or another temperature monitoring program to see what temps you are running. If they are "normal" don't worry but if they are high, I'd just slap in another case fan that blows over the card.

I have an AGP 7600 GS OC and I put in a fan that blows over the card, so I know where your coming from! ;-)
I don't mind because I can always use the fan for when I upgrade to a new computer.

7900GS is not really a hot card. PCIe version is just a 45 watter. AGP version has a bit higher wattage because of the AGP bridge chip (also gets hot).

But if you will overclock that card, consider the best:
