Usually web sites have a counter that tells them how many people visit (called a web site hit counter), but I haven't heard of a way to tell exactly who the visitor is. At least I cannot on my web site.

Whether it's wireless or not, the connection to the internet is established linking your computer to the worldwide web. I think normal users won't be able to find out exactly who viewed their websites but if it's for the purpose of solving crimes, the internet service providers (ISP) may be able to provide details which can track down the exact location where a certain page is accessed.

Depending on who is hosting the website there IS technology to log who and what is viewing the site. This is not to mean they know your name just your IP address and from there they know where you are, IE city im most cases.

But on the flip side there are ways around this technology or to trick in to thinking or logging incorrectly.

Every computer conneceted to internet has an unique ip address. There are many ways by which you can track the ip address of your website visitor

u can stop that by using a firewall or setting ur file sharing up
