I've had the computer for 6 months and have had no trouble with games or anything else. Recently I got the demo for crysis (a pc game). At first I could play it as long as I wanted with no problems.

But today I tried to play it and the computer turned itself off after about 20 minutes two times in a row.

I have exceeded the minimum requirements to play the game and I am running it on the game's suggested settings. I just don't understand why It turns itself off. Is it overheating or something?

Is there any way I can figure out what is wrong with my computer? If the specs of my computer are need they are as follows:

P5N32-E motherboard
C2D 2.4 ghz processor
2GB's of ram
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb

It may be a fatal error that is causing the computer to restart. You can easily stop the restart problem by changing your system
features to restrict automatic startup when your computer's having a problem. Here is how:

Probably overheating. I have never seen a virus just completely shut down a system. Open it up and dust it off with a compressed air duster (keep these away from kids). Get in everywhere and do a complete job including blowing into the power supply vent holes. If it needs it, defrag the hard drive so it does not work as hard and heat up more.

definitly overheating.8800gts run hotter but perform incredible.download pc wizard and minimize it.it will show all temps.if over 75 degrees then too hot.open case for now.but add a fan pushing air into case front or side.hi airflow low noise like a silent x fan.....buy a cheap fan controller also that will kick up the fn rps at 68 degrees...gl
btw i run almost the same setup but overclocked..

Your computing device could be working some thing interior the historic past it somewhat is taking on too many bites (like it truly is employing up it truly is capability.) So I advise shutting Firefox or in spite of off once you have open while enjoying those video games. those that artwork won't be employing as many bites. yet once you only 'close' each thing down, it may no longer probably be down. i will clarify; click "administration." "Alt." "Delete" All on the comparable time. Then click on job supervisor while a show screen pops up. once you open this pass to technique, and attempt to discover what's open. do no longer close each thing down, as maximum of those issues WILL crash the computing device, yet do no longer complication in case you shrink to rubble a sturdy restart will fix that. pass down the record it somewhat is coach below technique, in case you have Firefox, discover Firefox exe, or Chrome exe. it somewhat is your cyber web browser nonetheless working interior the historic past. do no longer close hit upon or domicile windows exe down, through fact then you definitely will would desire to restart. in case you do this you're able to see what I advise. 2nd, your computing device could be overheating. looks kinda unusual it might do it on video games in basic terms yet who is familiar with. you're able to would desire to maintain it on timber. I notably doubt this one although. i desire I helped. If no longer, sorry.
