I'm able to setup the software and run it. But the playback screen doesn't show my edited work, and I can't lay mp3s down with the video. Is this something I can rectify without having to switch back to XP? Can I configure my graphics/sound card?

Ok i do grades ( teacher) i like to put them grades in excel. I use the point system. ex: 10/50! So of course i put 10. Normally i would just do the math myself. I was wonderning if there was some way the computer do that for you? I want to have the computer add up some numbers then divide by so many numbers! Can u help?

I have a HP DV4170US
1.73GHz
1GB Ram
Windows XP Home Edition SP 2

I have been having a lot of problems lately with my notebook. I had it serviced under warranty and it has never worked the same since. When I try to shut it down, it takes about 15 minutes to finally turn off. Sometimes when I reboot, it takes 5 minutes to see the welcome screen.

Also, I use a Kensington PocketMouse because the notebook is used as a desktop. I have a printer connected via USB as well. The devices will fail several minutes after they are connected and the notebook will freeze. The Fan kicks into high gear and task manager shows the CPU at 100%. I can unplug the devices and then plug them back in and they will work for sometimes 5 minutes and sometimes 20 seconds before cutting off again.

What could be going on here? I have re-installed the operating system several times and it is clean of any viruses. The mouse works fine on my other computer.

how to build a Wi-Fi hotspot login page for free on windows xp, so any wlan on a notebook cant use internet without given username and password, for a limited access.
a secured login so user cannot have access another time with same login information.
any browsing access will be redirected to my hotspot login page.

I own the Zonet Wireless USB adapter- or other known as the Zonet Wireless Usb ZEW2502. When i Install the hardware, it says (i own windows xp, home edition) "Code 38, hardware cannot install because Hardware is Corrupted." I am trying to log into my school's remote access server. It accepts my user name and password, but then an error message pops up that says
"You must have Terminal Server access permissions on this computer. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users group have these permissions. If you are not a member or do not have permissions, you need to set permission acces manually"

And the flip 3D screens where working then stopped and just went pack to how windows xp would have been, its weird. i like the pretty pop ps and i cant find anywhere on the computer, the display controls or anything. i called my computer people and they want me to bring it into a place to have it checked, but my husband needs the computer for school, we donthaev time to take it down there for something like this. but the 3D features are so cool, i really want it back. help please

It's running slow so I noticed the files were huge so some of them were erased. Now there is one folder that says it can't be deleted due to the disk being full or someone else is using that folder but I'm the only one on the computer...can anyone help me with this problem?
