Then Download the version you prefer to use.
Several users have several different browsers downloaded on there machines with the Icon's on there desktop. You simply click on the Icon of the browser you want to use.
You may not care for FIrefox but is is much safer than Explorer.

Which version of IE do you want?
But to answer your question in a roundabout way I'll tell you what I do.
I have IE7, Opera, and Firefox.
They are all set to different homepages.
Depending on what I want to do determines which one I open.
None of them take up significant disk space.
Each one offers something the other doesn’t
My point is why settle for one?

Internet Explorer, you mean? All you have to do is go here and download:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
You will still have Mozilla Firefox, so if you want to completely remove Firefox just go to Add/Remove Programs and look for it and delete it.

In the config menu you have to set up the following changes:

- network.http.proxy.pipelining (put “true”)
- network.http.pipelining.maxrequests put on 100

- network.http.max-connections-per-server 16
- network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy 8

You save the changes by clicking the right button of your mouse somewhere on the screen and choose new -> integer from the menu. Now you have to write nglayout.initialpaint.delay (or simply copy / paste from this file) into the popup and type in number 0 into the next window.
