Because the time on your computer is wrong.

Make sure that it knows what timezone it should be in and set the right time in the Date and Time Properties.

If you have broadband you can get it to automatically set the right time for you.

Open up the Date and Time Properties. > Internet tab

Go to:
http://tf.nist.gov/service/time-servers.html

and copy and paste the name of your nearest time server into the Server selection.

Click Apply, then click Update Now.

If Windows reports a problem then try a different server name and try again.

It most likeily set to a other timezone. Click on it and make sure. If not, you can set it to the right time.

First indication that your motherboard CMOS battery is dying is that the clock starts losing time. When it gets weaker you won't be able to boot. If this keeps happening replace it.
