Is there any software to convert or extract the videos and audios embedded in a DVD in ifo format so that we can convert dvd files into vcd ready files like mpg or dat extension files files .

Ok...
I use a Dell lattitude D510 laptop with a intel pentium 4 processor and windows xp service pack 2 installed.
The problem i'm having is that when i try to install some things my computer starts to make wierd noises and then a black screen comes up displaying text which lasts for about 1 second. It then resets itself and once booted up and i've error reported it says there is a problem with one of my drivers. I have tried to update my drivers but it won't let me because it does exactly the same as what i said above.
Is there any way to sort out the offending driver as it's really annoying me?

hey guys i was wondering. i have a maxtor external drive that i connect to my pc through usb cable right. my friend told me he connects his drive to his tv and watches his movie files and music does anybody know the name of that cable? i think he took a guess and called it RGB cable but i looked it up on google and it don't say anythin about pluggin it into your tv can anybody help? thanks

Okay, I hate to admit it, but I visit adult sites sometimes, and I download "bad" things to my computer. I've learned that doing this is very bad for my privacy, and my personal information might leak out if I visit adult sites. So I want to "clean out" my computer. For example, delete all search results, put my privacy back together again, and simply reduce it to the condition it was in when I first got it. In other words, "reset" the computer. Is that possible? If not, what is the closest I can get to "reseting" my computer? Please, PLEASE no mean or rude comments... I'm already very guilty. Please help me. Thank you.

all of a sudden, I open to IE windows and when i'm on the second, my IE explorer keeps poping up 136 times then thing wont click up then when I restart my system it keeps beeping until I press the enter key, what could be wrong?

I bought a computer from my friend that's missing a hard drive, so i put in my 20 gig hard drive from an emachine which had the emachine form of windows i guess? Anyways the hard drive works in the orginal emachine but when i move it over to the new computer it flakes out and wont load. I get the list of five options; safe mode, safe mode command, safe mode networking, last settings that worked, start windows normaly. Anyone of thoughs i pick it goes to the blue screen of death. I put the hard drive back into the orginal emachine computer where it came from and installed a windows xp home edition that doesnt have all that emachine freeware and stuff on it but yet when i plug it in to the new computer its still not starting. O ya, i know the jumpers are right because it works on the other computer, the new computer also does read the hard drive to some extent because in bios it shows the serial # and how many gigs are left, and i also tried changing the ide cable with no sucess.

the problem is when i was using the powequest partiton magic to resize the hard disc but what happened that i've deleted the hard disc so the pc couldn't start when i restart it coz there's no hard disc so what i've tried to do was to reinstall the pc using windows xp ( operating system beforewas win xp )
but i got the same problem saying there's no hard disk
so i used win vista and was great solved the problem so i thought i might back to win xp but till now still showing no hard disk anyway i need to know how can i find my hard disk for win xp ( operating system now is windows vista

I have a laptop w/ Vista Home Premium. I have a slightly older desktop that has XP Pro installed as well. I absolutely can not remember the password. I was told the only way to get by that is to "wipe it out & install XP Pro again".
Is that right? Or any other solutions? Or a website that could help?

its a Dell Inspiron 6000, it wont start up it says PBR2 loaded but the screen doesnt change, i can't get into safe mode and the pre-boot system assessment (build 3017) reads DST short status test on hard drive detects error. Error Code 0F00:0228, Msg block: timeout waiting for drive not busy. then repeats for error code 1 and msg block 1 onwards. Now i try and start it up its saying No Boot Sector on Internal Hard Drive, PXE-Eld: Media test failure, check cable, No bootable devie - - strike F1 to continue (which i do and get no progress). Whats the problem as i have no idea what any of that stuff means and also i just need to recover one document then i dont mind losing everything ese as the rest is externally backed up but its really really important. any instructions or estimates how much it will cost to get fixed would be much appreciated.

My laptop has deceided not to show my desktop computers icons in mshome /view workgroup even so it is conected to my network
i can conect to the internet through my hub/desktop computer and the desk top says it is conected but i do not have permission to access the lap top.it should still display the computers on the network.

My gateway laptop froze during a restoration. I didnt know what to do, so I left it alone for a couple of hours hoping it would snap out of it. It never did so I had no choice but to turn it off. Now every time I start my computer a window that says "driver apllication" appears, as if it were going to continue the restoration process, but then freezes.
