i have a windows vista home premium which has intel graphics media accelerator 950 card but when i bought guild wars factions i heard the music and stuff but the screen wouldnt work im thinking its the graphics card? i talked to the best buy guys and they said my type of computer should let me play it plz help?

I got the following advice for a computer problem I'm having: "Check for driver updates. This is most likely caused by your videocard. ATI is notorious for its driver problems."

I went to the ATI website and couldn't figure out where to go to update my driver. Can someone please give me directions or a specific link or something?

Or is it like a corrupt java script or something similar? I don't know what I said to this guy to tick him off, but before I knew it there were hundreds of IM windows popping up on my screen. He's got nothing better to do I guess than to fry people's computers. Does standard virus protection protect against something like this? Is there such a thing as some kind of program that would send the same thing back to the person who is sending it? I want VENGANCE!!! It makes me so angry to think of this guy (imagine the guy who kept killing everyone in the World of Warcraft Southpark episode) did this to ME!! For what?!? I didn't do anything to him! Can I hire a hacker to find him and fry his computer? Is there such a service?

Some online games are just for spanish or chinese speakers and the text inside are all the natives word. But how do they input the letters besides using english letters? Do they need some kind of program to do it? I tried using language tool bar but i can only type it on internet explorer or microsoft office and not on a game program application..

Is that enough to run the Nvidia 7900GS? I heard that it requires 12+ Volt or so. Thanks in advance!

Can you help. I was trying to download lunia and then a popup came of about drive cleaner. I pressed x to leave. then my norton internet security told me about a risk drivecleaner. Then it ran a scan. And it said found software. I clicked removed and it said it was removed. I heard that drivecleaner disguises does this mean i downloaded drivecleaner instead of removing it. Please help I am only a 10 year old boy that doesn't know whats going on.

Any tricks I need to be aware of? I have a blank D drive, and an XP-Pro full install disk (with the key).

Specifically, how would I be able to boot into XP-Pro, if the normal boot process points to the active partition on the C drive?

Currently I have a radeon 9800 pro 128mb video card, although it is very old, I now have line on my screen that appeared there today around the cursur, and if i even try to open up a game my screen goes ballistic, its not the lcd its the video card. Well my question is about setting up my Printer up so i can print from my laptop wirelessly... my laptop is wireless enabled.
and i am connected to internet from my wireless router. my PC dose not have wireless since it a lil bit old. so i am using a Enthenet cable which is connected to my wireless router. so i was wondering if i could hook my laptop up so i could print without any wires. I have a Hanns-G 19in LCD. I find the native brightness & Contrast ratio to be very tough on my eyes. Anyone knows a good contrast and brightness ratio setting that is easy on the eyes?
Do not give me an answer like "it depends on your eyes". I want numerical answers such as "set the contrast to 50". Thanks

i have a Linksys Wrt54g
everything worked perfectly for the first few days
but its been a month since i got it
and now i cant use the Router
i cant go on wifi or anything

I did a clean sweep last week and a box popped up saying my hard drive was 84% fragmented. I know this is bad. I tried to run the defragmenting program, but it said I didn't have enough free memory to run the program. I run windows 98 my computer is an antique! Any help is much appreciated.
