to play the game just cause on the pc, and would the game work if i used the intel R 82845 graphics controller?

i doubt the integrated graphics would work well if at all .. i would guess an nvidia 7600 would work ..

I'm guessing it would work.... just not very well. It's hard to keep up with Intel's crazy chipset names, but if you bought the computer in the last couple years, it will run it. However, Intel's chipsets aren't intended for gaming, and you'll probably end up running the game on low settings (not very satisfying, if you ask me). I'd recommend buying an Nvida GeForce series 7 or 8 card, if I were you. There's some less expensive ones available for budget users, but will still run well. Just make sure you have an available PCI Express x16 slot - if you don't know, ask your manufacturer.

Minimum is 64mb DX9 card. Your old chipset's integrated graphics is not capable. Most 82845 chipset variant supports 4X AGP. These cards should work great:
ATI 9550
ATI 9600 Pro
Geforce 7300GS AGP
They all draw less than 20 watts, so would not stress your power supply.
