Because my dads computer nerd friend said dont download limewire on the computer, but i need songs and torrent websites dont really give me single songs.

Yes, he will be able to find it. Putting the files on an external drive doesn't change the fact that it makes entries into the registry and system files, which can't be moved.
Be aware that if you do this and get busted, your father is the one who will be facing charges and a lawsuit, which he won't appreciate. Also, the odds of you downloading malware that will infect the computer are high, and it doesn't matter which drive you install Limewire on, the viruses will still infect the system.

1. ur dads nerd friend is somewhat right. but wrong.
2. yes he will be able to find limewire on an external drive.
3. make sure the files u download from limewire are over 3megs long. that means 3,543,234. if the file has one comma, it;s a virus.
4. update your dad antivirus software. he probably has norton or mcafee. those two programs are defeated by viruses all the time.
