Why does my wirless router say "Problem Internet Connection is not working"?

i have a Linksys Wrt54g
everything worked perfectly for the first few days
but its been a month since i got it
and now i cant use the Router
i cant go on wifi or anything
when i try to fix it
it still says that the connection isnt working
i tryed everything
turning it off, re starting it, unpluging, i tryed everything there is
what can i do to fix it?

Do the "Fire Drill":

1) Power down the cable/dsl modem, then power it back up, and wait until it "settles".

2) Power down your router, and power it back up.

3) Reboot your PC.

This process renews all your DHCP addresses, which can time out.

If that doesn't work, does your computer connect to the internet when plugged into the modem? Could be an ISP problem.

return it and try a new one. It's only a month old!!!!!!
DO NOT waste your time trying to fix it. But 1st check that your dsl portion of your home line is activated with your service provider.
