It seems pretty good and the price is just about what I have (1.5k) and I am getting it for multi-purpose (And some games.). I was wondering if this was a pretty good deal or not.

I already have a fantastic desktop which is simply incredible, so I'm sure I want a laptop, and the 1.5k is going to be a present to me so I don't need to worry about money.

Yeah, it's a pretty good RIG. My only advice is that you should THINK HARD on why a laptop, instead of desktop.

Do you travel?
Do you conduct business on the road?

or do you just want to goof around with something cool.

You see, a desktop is lower priced, easier to upgrade, lasts longer, easier to maintain, lower repair costs and much more expandable. 9 years is good for a desktop, but you will get just 6 on a laptop. Laptops are easily stolen, and you are STUCK with the main board and video card for it's life. Laptops also break easily. So unless you really go MOBILE, don't.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

1. no.
2. fry's sells them for much less, also dont get it cause someone told u HP is a good company.
3. find out what ur getting with it. now days the recovery process is on the harddrive. if the drive fails, you loose everything including the recovery section. You want the recovery CD's too.
4. it has too much stuff built into it. the webcam built-in is problay cheap.
5. $1400 it will come down in price soon.
