A salesperson I know in my local Wal-Mart says they are returned almost as quickly as they are sold.
You need to get your parents to be involved in helping you find a computer to purchase.

If that is the main stuff you are doing then yeah, it's awesome.Now if you really start getting into the homework thing i would suggest Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.

Yes. That's a lot more computer than I had when I was a kid. Some other things to look for:
- cost of software (Microsoft Office, anti-virus program, etc.)
- adding a printer, and related supplies (ink cartridges, etc.)
