I have just got window XP with service pack 2 on it and very load up well.

when I started my PC up and place a disc into the CDRW it light up then stop and when I click on the icon in my computer for the CD ROM nothing happens, it dose not respond to any CD in the CDRW at all, however it will eject the CD but will not read it at all. please could someone help me out there thanks foxylove9

Across the streen from me is a library with free WiFi, and there are several locations a few blocks away. But I can't get the signal in my apartment. I know most Wifi Antennas are for broadcasting, is there a recieveing version I could use?

Hello All, I Just recently bought 4gb of ddr2 ram, and when i installed it my computer only shows that i have 2gb of ram, my computer is not reading the second 2gb stick, i dont know why, i got a new motherboard which supports up to 8gb of ram soo that shouldent be the problem, can someone please help me out, i would greatly appreciate it.!!!

My Bro bought a new graphics card, the thing that surprised me was that it didnt have a fan nor any water cooling etc, It just had that silver block ontop, so I told him that there was supposed to be a fan, I didnt come with one. The computer works fine now, but cant play vids and sumtimes freezes and windows are 'sketched/drawn' when opened, it 'draws' the window or image if u understand, from top to bottom etc. What could be the prob?, i think its coz theres no fan so it cant be cooled. any suggestions?

I,ve been getting pop-up messages from Mcafee saying I'm not protected so I opted for a free 90 day free trial. It was a 3 sided security package which included firewall and spamkiller etc. After trying to download its removed all previous protection icons etc but now I get other pop-ups saying subscription expired and WARNING you are not protected!! I only did it just tonight. What should I do?

I make excel models that are not very user friendly and I'm trying to make them more for commercial use. I need help learning how to streamline the models i have using VBA and don't really know where to turn. I want to learn while watching someone do it for me i.e. learn by example. There is the

Dell REFURBISHED E228WFP 22-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor which would cost me 250 dollars total.

My other choice is the

NEW LG 21.6" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor for the cost of 220 dollars total.

Im not sure with which one to go buy. What do you think would be a better buy with the best quality at the desired cost?
