Im a college student, and I honestly just want a good performing laptop for my daily needs. Im not a big gamer or video editor, so will I really notice the difference with the extra 0.16 GHz?

ok, so i have a aim sn and i havent been on it for a loooong time, in that period of time i got a new computer and lost my buddy list so is not like i can just reload it on another sn...i tried to reset the password but it send to the email add that i signed up with and which i have no clue what it is.....so ... yea....i still have ppl sending me msgs through my phone! bc i would have that on when i wasnt online.....can anyone help me get my password or reset it? is there anyone i can call on aim? or whatever! I like listening to music on my computer while surfing. Sometimes sites or pages load too slow to turn off thier sound and other times it's hard to find. Is there a way to use my speakers for internal use and block outside sound?

I just installed a new (brand new) Hard Drive in to my laptop and then I shut it down and inserted my copy of Windows XP and it ran for almost two hours and then my laptop restarted itself but it said that it can't find an Operating System.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple like changing something in the BIOS, but I just dont know exacrly wht I need to change and where.

i am new to ebay. i'm buying cars nad one of my questions is that when i make a bid another instant bid appears higher than mine. but at the end of the sell. when i log into ebay i see the car one more time and the last bid before the sell ended was at 453.00 but when the sell time ended the winner's bid was 219. why? this are my other questions. are you forced to buy the item you're the winner at?what about the seller, is he forced as well? i want to buy, fix and resell the cars back here in houston. plz someone help

I'm using Outlook Express and I can receive mail but when I try to send mail I get this message..550 host is listed in.sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org...I tried their website but my ip address is not in their database and I don't have spamhaus on my system.
Any ideas how to solve the problem?

I want to know if broadband will ever be free at some point in the future. Interstellar Internet has been proposed and will be a huge advancement in the internet world.

Broadband is cheap, but here in the UK we are still using copper cabling and probably aren't going to move onto fibre optic cabling for quite some time. Heck i read somewhere that the UK have no need for it, which i believe is 110% incorrect.

Fibre optics has a huge potential, it can carry very very large amounts of information at a very fast speed. But is delicate and costly to create. (i've seen how they make it and believe me it even looks costly to make)

Well broadband speeds are increasing everyday and getting cheaper, other than paying for the wiring and having it installed will there ever be a free connection?

So far according to the last time i checked the highest broadband connection in the UK is around 14MB on regular home use. I'm currently using as 10MB connection which to me i find been slow...

i have an older, Olympus Master D-435 digital camera...I have just reinstalled it, but I keep getting this:?
