I scroll the mouse around on a blank screen, and tap the space bar repeatedly for half a minute sometimes before the screen finally "wakes up". I want to just be able to nudge the mouse and it wakes up. I've seen some computers that seem to do that.

My dvd drive unit has packed in but I am not sure it's to do with the mechanics of the actual unit. I seem to have lost the driver - so, my questions, where can I download a driver for this model. Have done Google searches but can't find one. But then I can be a lzay sod from time to time.... Cheers!

yet when i search and click on FireFox 3.0 it takes me to a page with firefox 2.0, I'm confused ?.

hi guys,

I have two desktops and one laptop connected together with a wifi router.. now i want to make one desktop as kinda small server.. so that i can access its drive on my laptop, but at the same time i do want the other desktop to access that drive or few shares..

So is it possible ?

what i thought was to make two groups and add the laptop and the other desktop into the groups individually, and then assign persmissions to groups.. but i am unable to add groups.. i donn know how to do it ?

Do i have to make a domain ? or what ?

last night, I decided to format my PC, and Partition my harddrive to stop me losing files when I format it again, but when I partitioned the drive, I had both partitions at exactly the same space , IE: 50% each which was fine, but as soon as I put windows back on my system, (XP by the way), I noticed in My computer, i still only had one hardrive listed with the full amount of space IE: 80 Gig, but I wanted 40 on each, can you tell me if windows XP can have a partition on the drive

PS i did, delete partition, and create logical drives and format all of them

.I was browsing the net earlier today when all a sudden youtube opened up for a few seconds, and then close and a popup error message appeared

(title of error message) youtube IS BANNED

"youtube is banned you fool,The administrators didnt write this program guess who did??"

"MUHAHAHA!!"

(The grammar mistakes are intentional.. this is a transcript)

And an audio clip of evil laughter (sorta like as in the message) plays.. now if I try typing youtube in the address bar, IE closes and that same message with the audio clip comes up! I've tried clearing my cache but that doesn't seem to work.

I also tried using Mozilla FireFox but it says,

(Error message title) USE INTERNET EXPLORER YOU DOPE

"I DNT HATE MOZILLA BUT USE IE OR ELSE..."

Don't know if it matters, but, also..

I haven't visited youtube in weeks..

And, the error message seems to automatically close after 5 seconds.

Has this happened to anyone else so far? Any suggestions?
