If you turn off the computer... you already knows what happens. If you then UNPLUG it, nothing changes further; except the power supply on your desktop then discharges completely.

Does this mean that you might forget something without the power connection?

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Unplugged a computer is the same as turning it off. Anything you would NOT lose by turn the computer off and back on, you will NOT lose by unplugging it.

You WILL lose what is in "memory", which would be any unsaved files you might have been working on. But you will not lose anything saved on the hard drive (programs, games, pictures, music, etc). If you shut down the computer properly before unplugging it, you will not lose anything.

Well...it depends, if you turn of the computer completely and properlly (ie. shut it down etc) and unplug it.
You should be fine, but if you just unplug a computer from the socket, you do run the risk of losing memory, it isnt that high of a risk, but I wouldnt chance it.

no, you will not lose any of your memory. If you are referring to hard disk, it will not lose the computer memory too.
