I'm looking for the latest version of FireFox, which seems to be FireFox 3.0?

yet when i search and click on FireFox 3.0 it takes me to a page with firefox 2.0, I'm confused ?.

This is one of the places i found firfox 3.0 i also found it on C-Net Download

Although none of the sites had FireFox 3.0 they only had 2.0, i must admits its hard to trust a site that tries peddling something they don't have.

I'm not sure where you received your information from???However, the latest version of Firefox is 2.0.0.6, according to Mozilla's website, and can be downloaded from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Tip: You should always try to obtain software directly from the Manufacturer whenever possible. There are so many malicious websites on the web these days. Caution is always strongly recommended whenever downloading and installing anything from the web..

The latest version of Firefox is 2.0.0.6

That website you mentioned allows you to download version 2.0 and it is not capable of running many websites.

Only download Firefox from the official Mozilla website to avoid problems.

Actually, the most recent version is 2.0.0.6.

I am not sure where your link is from, but 3.0 is not a current valid version, at least in general release, but maybe developers are working on vs. 3.0

Yep. Mine says it's up to date and it's 2.0.0.6 For a Mac tho. It works superbly.
