I have very basic phone service to save money. And also since I don't have internet how do I get something like Net zero loaded on my computer?

You won't need long distance if you go with an ISP who uses a local number for you to dial in to. I've not seen an ISP which makes you use a long distance number for internet (except for those dodgy "free porn" dialers which cost $100 a minute). Good thing too, since it will cost you a phone call every time you connect to the internet (in addition to your internet usage charges).

You have to call a Internet provider, such as Net Zero and sign up. About 10 bucks a month.

Then you can look for the local phone numbers in your area for Internet access. It will cost you something.

If you want to access the Internet free you will still have to purchase a WiFi card (Walmart, CompUSA, Best But, Etc.) and then search for a hot spot around you.
