I want to buy gps software for truck drivers and the one that I found requieres the following:

Windows 2000, ME, XP, VISTA( I have XP)
400 MHz processor or better
128 MB RAM
16X CD-ROM
250 MB available hard disc space
Built-in Bluetooth or a Bluetooth adapter that enables Bluetooth connectivity (I have it)
Speakers and sound card required for voice technology
Microphone required for voice recognition
*Requires a 32 bit Laptop

I have 522,608 of physical memory available. Would my T43 work with the software? The software I found is the CoPilot CPT9US-BT Truck Laptop 9 Bluetooth.

Whenever I click on spell check to correct spelling errors, all the corrections it shows are in French. When I checked the "Tools" menu, "Options", "Spelling" I see that the language for my spell check is "FRENCH". How can I change this to ENGLISH?

Ok, so I often change the screen resolution on computer games higher to get a better picture quality. However, if I change it too high, the game cannot display anything and the screen is pitch black. How can I change it back if I can't see anything? I know some games have a 10 second reset option, but the games I've had trouble with don't (at least I don't think so). How can I change it back without groping around in the dark through the menu hoping to hit the screen resolution option?

I currently have comcast high-speed internet on an old computer and am buying a new one. I want to switch the connection to my new computer to access the internet. Can I just put the ethernet cord onto my new computer, or do I have to do some other stuff? I don't have any ISP software, so do I have to call comcast in order for them to install it on to my computer? I would prefer to do it myself if it's possible.

I put a dvd rw into a dvd recorder, record what is on the tv, then finalize disk. I put it into my dvd rom on my computer, i go to the dvd rom folder and nothing shows.

when I click on the "My Computer" link, all I get is a flashlight scanning over a folder. I recently had a virus, but that was solved with Norton 360. However, before we got Norton, I was investigating the folder. I might have deleted something thinking it was the virus. What is wrong with "My Computer"?

Wifi card in my laptop connects to a 54mbps connection. When I open internet explorer it will not load any pages. Need help because it was working just a couple of days ago and then wham!

I open my computer, open my "C" Drive, open tools and check off, scan for files/folders on the next reboot. (Scan can only be performed when the "C" drive is not in use).

When I reboot my pc fails to scan my files and folders and goes to windows is loading your program, welcome and all my programs load.

I am without the scan of the four stages of my system files and folders.

Used to work, now for some unknown reason this request is skipped.

Please I need an answer as my last two or three question went un-answered. I even download a program called "checker", and requested a scan of all files and folders. Nothing, my programs loaded .

My pc runs perfect and I have no virus and never had one in over ten years..

Please, any answers on how to correct this software problem.

I have made a webpage, and saved it as 'mywebpage.html', which will show it on browser. I also want to save it as what it shows on the notepad. I tried that, but I come back to it again the next day, it disappears. What am I doing wrong? I want to see the code in notepad.

To send several pictures at a time I always seem to have to create a separate file and then email the whole file. It would be much easier click on several pictures to email them without having to create a new file. Is this possible?

By the way, once I have the new file how do undo the file to put them back in the original location?

This whole thing is really a pain when you've got a lot of pictures to email to several people but you don't want to include exactly the same ones to each.

I will be really happy if someone has an easy answer to selecting more than one picture to email.

and different email addresses.They are from a classmate,a partner,a neighbor, a friend. AT&T is doing a good job at not allowing the cards to get to me but i would still like for it to stop.Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything i can do to stop it. I switched from cable to yahoo dsl two days ago and speed is definitely faster than cable, but someone told me that after 10 days provider will choke speed down. That initial speed is set high to get one hooked and not to cancel during probation period.

A lot of people say that Wikipedia is unreliable, but what makes it any less reliable than Britannica Encyclopedia, or MSN Encarta? I know that anyone can edit the articles on Wikipedia, but it's still people creating articles using their knowledge and sourcing information, which is what they do at Britannica or Encarta, but the only difference is they are employed by a company to do that. So why should Wikipedia be less reliable simply because regular people can edit it?

I got to know it just now!!! I think it was pretty much better than the current McAfee VirusScan Plus. Of course it didn't have a firewall, but this McAfee is HORRIBLY slow.
