Hi,

Recently I purchased Digital Camera, Mobile Phone & MP3 Player,all these comes with USB2 & my computer is USB1 hence iam unable to connect these devices or trasfer datas to my computer.

OS: Windows 2000

I need to trasfer datas into my PC from these devices. Please help if you know any solution :)

I've got the gamecube plugged to the laptop right now. Both the red and white audio cables are connected into one that allows me to plug them both to the "Audio-in connector". And I've got the yellow one plugged into another cable which allows me to plug it into the "S-Video In Connector". The gamecube is on, so is the laptop. Now. What is the next step into using my laptop as a monitor, or is there just no way to do it?

This is a little hard to explain.

I got a computer with 2 GB of RAM, but when I run a big application, like a video game, the computer ends the game when 1.5 GB of RAM is used, saying that to much physical memory was being used.

Now I've experimented and right before the error message appears to close the game, and the game is still running, I open the task manager and under the performance tab, only 1.48GB of RAM is being used.


So my question is, how can I make my computer use more RAM, maybe like 1.75GB, before it shuts down the program?

I need to remove adware/spyware LDCORE.DLL from windows system32 using command prompt. The directions state that I should unregister the file. I don't know what unregister does. Then there are directions to delete "other" LDCORE.DLL files.

My question is, do I just have to unregister my file or do I have to delete it too? It seems the instructions say to delete only if there are other LDCORE.DLL files.

Does unregister also delete?

PS - I have numerous viruses that suddenly downloaded this past week. My guess is that I have four viruses. I have earthlink and microsoft scan and delete products, but they don't delete viruses in windows/system32. I don't think they are very sophisticated. These files are always in use and that may be why they can't delete them.

I dont know what happened I did a speed test ( speedtest.net ) and noticed that my uploading speed was durastically reduced. It usually is around 400-500 kbs but when i did a test today it was only 40 kbs O.o while my downloading speed is the same from before. Can someone please help?

I just got one and set it up pretty easily but it suppose to work 1000ft and I can barly take the laptop out of my house. I dont know what to do about this never had one before. Is this normal or what Im not sure what to do. Id appricate any suggestions thanks guys.

At first my computer wont start up so i decided to rewire everything (which usually works and did this time too) but when i plugged the printer to the AVR the wires started to spark the it turned off again. Okay, so I know the password to my account (which is the only administrators account on my computer)
but when I tried using Windows recover console, and I wanted to check my C drive, and it asked for my administrator's password.
So naturally, I typed in my password, but it said it was an "invalid password"
I tried about 6 more times and gave up.
How do I find this "Administrator's Password" that I never knew existed?

And please don't give me any of that "maybe you're not typing it right" crap. I know my own passwords.

So I just bought a laptop with a Core 2 Duo (Merom) which runs at speed of 1.73 Ghz. But my own Pentium 4 (Prescott) runs at 2 something Ghz. Isn't a Core 2 Duo suppose to be faster than Pentium 4?

I have a mouse with a middle scroll wheel that I always use instead of scrolling down with the cursor. All of a sudden, it stopped working, and it won't make the clicking noise like it used to--like it was grabbing something...now it's just a smooth, noiseless process and the screen won't move as I move the scroll button up and down. It only works if I click the scroll button, then a dot with an up or down arrow appears, and I have to move the mouse, not the scroll button. I don't like this! Is there a way to fix this so that the "clicking" noise comes back and I can just move the scroll button, or do I just need to buy a new one? Why did it stop working?
