That's a fairly old computer, and there is not much you can to increase the speed. You can install more RAM which will help some. I would recommend only running it on Pre XP versions of windows. Windows 2000 Pro will run OK on 128, but wants 256. Windows 98 would work fine.

There isn't much you can do to make your games run fast on that computer. Most new games require CPU speeds at least twice as fast as you have.

THe configuration is not right to have a very fast PC. But you can try increasing the RAM to 512MB. Which OS are u using? XP will not run well on this config. Maybe Win95 or 98 would be more suited. But both are discontiuned and no support available.

Dear Sir,

Firstly replace or Insert New RAM (256 MB ) 128+ 256=284MB, This can make your PC Speed first.
Secondly delete/uninstall unnecessary software from your computer and monthly defragment your Windows. Or install any reputed Disk Cleaner software and clean your computer regularly, avoid to download and install evaluate or unknown software, because when you install any new software in your system just for checking after check and uninstall most of software will never delete their all files and entry from your PC, which can decrease your PC speed.

Try to delete some software from Run which shown in the Right bottom of the Taskbar.

Ok... are you asking how to make your PC faster, or are you asking where you can get an antivirus software? First, that computer is a dinosaur; you're better off buying a new one with a dual or quad core. Second, you can get antivirus softwares at any computer store.

Here is a link to all the security software you will need.

Increase your RAM to as much as you can afford. More than likely that computer will max out at 1.5gb (3 slots @ 512mb modules).
If you have an Intel Slot 1 you could go with a PowerLeap upgrade processor. cost about $120 for a 1.4 ghz chipset
