Okay, so I know the password to my account (which is the only administrators account on my computer)
but when I tried using Windows recover console, and I wanted to check my C drive, and it asked for my administrator's password.
So naturally, I typed in my password, but it said it was an "invalid password"
I tried about 6 more times and gave up.
How do I find this "Administrator's Password" that I never knew existed?

And please don't give me any of that "maybe you're not typing it right" crap. I know my own passwords.

It's possible that there is no password for the admin account. When you are prompted for the admin password in the recover console, just press Enter and see if that works.

There can be many users setup as administrators on a computer, but the computer also has an account with the name Administrator.

Hopefully you are able to still get into your Windows Desktop from Safe Mode.

If you can't get into the Windows desktop, then you'll have a problem because I don't know how to set the password without purchasing software.

If you can still login to Windows do the following. You won't be able to find out what the current password is, but you can change the password to something you know.

1. Login with any account that has administrator access.
2. Right click on my computer
3. Select Manage.
4. Expand Local Users and Groups.
5. Select Users
6. Right click "Administrator"
7. Select "Set Password"
8. Type the new password and now you'll be OK.

My default on my password was nothing, also in safe mode press F8 while starting up, I had this weird account named Administrator, so I felt that it was very unsecure to leave that without a password, since mine default had no passwrd, maybe your computer as it's default doesn't use a password either, mine is a Compaq, I hope this helps (:
