Don't charge it too much, first off. That is not what is considered, too much, though. I had a laptop a few years ago, and it is because when you plug in the cord, it immediately ceises gathering power from the battery. now to do the opposite, it will take a few more seconds. So, when you unplug the cord, your computer goes into "shock", searching for a power source. Now, it cant find the battery power fast enough to make up for the power cord, thus shutting it off.

check the metal elements that connect to the battery and on your laptop. Sometimes there is dust or something else that interferes with the transfer of power. But it does seem that the battery is probably dead and you should buy a new one. Tigerdirect.com or newegg.com has really good prices compared to the manufacturer.

i guess your batteries are dead
system seems about 2 years old & battery quality may have been poor
however you can try re-calibrate battery, if at all possible

charging for 15 hours isn't healthy for a battery. you've ruined it, you need a new one. isuggest calling yourmanufacturers.

try to shut it down, and then unpulug it, and then restart it and see if that works
