i bought the pc 10 months ago and due to my old pc which was still on its last legs i did not start using iot until may. then i realised that the hard drive was 80gb. when it actuallly should have been 200gb. i emailed the company and this is the reply they gave ;

If these machines do have 80Gb drives in them then all I can do is apologise at this time for the mistake. As these PCs were bought 10months ago it is not something we can swap for you.

If this mistake had been reported within 28ays of purchase then obviously you would have been covered by statutory rights, but please understand that after this length of time we cannot just swap components reported as incorrect.

We will help you out with any other issues as per your warranty''.

My phone is down and I don't have any money to use a pay phone (another story in itself) I need to make an urgent phone call. I'm very computer literate, so if someone could give me a name of a program or atleast point me in the right direction, or even if this is possible, I should be able to figure the rest out. I'm trying to help my friend out with this and we cant get it working. How would you go about doing this?

1. Write a C program that opens two data files one for reading and another for
writing. The program must copy the contents of input data file to output file
with the data double line spaced. Example below. The program must work
for all data files [ and not just for the following example ]

Input file:

Earth is Solid
So is Moon.

Output File:

Earth is Solid

Ok i am going to buy a dell inspiron 1520 soon and will be getting the 8400m gs with it. I was just curious if anyone has experience with the 8400m gs. I've been keeping this EPSON C42 for a good 5 years, and now it's about time I get a new printer. Somehow I got attached to the old machine although it's the noisiest and slowest thing one can imagine (most likely why I luv it so much), and can't stand the idea of throwing it away. Of course, it can't become a TV or an aquarium, and it wouldn't be really usefull as a lamp either, but there's got to be something it can be turned into for use in the future...

Basically, i suspect that Internet explorer is being an a*se as usual and rendering my site wrong.

I have problems with some other sites due to some of IEs bugs, The last was down to the double margin bug.

This one however looks more of a problem with widths, I'm not really that sure.

As you can see if you look at the page, the main content has been pushed down under the navigation. and the catorgories menu is higher than it should be.

It all looks fine on firefox,

So if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this problem I would be extremly greatfull. -- I'm pretty sure i don't have any overlaping divs

I had two computers on a network before, one was reformatted and we put all the information back on it.

Computer 1 can see computer two on the workgroup computers but can't access it... all the options are set up for sharing on the network, sharing is on for all the drives and everything else..

I can't get computer 2 to view computer 1 at all...

Please help me i need to setup these two computers for work...

Hi,

I met a problem when testing latency of a network. I can connect to Yahoo, but cannot ping through it. It always says "Request time out". This also happens when I try other sites I can connect to normally, even after I disabled firewall on my pc.

Has anybody met this problem? Any lead is sappreciated.

Okay this is weird. I AM connected to my home network wirelessly. I can use Trillian, my IM client. I can use outlook to send and recieve email AND use the Outlook browser to use the internet.

But if I open IE or firefox it doesn't connect to the internet. It just keeps turning and turning like it's in the process of connecting. This hasn't been a problem in the past.

Details: I have vista on my laptop, XP on my main desktop, bitdefender on the desktop and mcaffee on the laptop. Please let me know what you think I should do.
