my computer wouldnt start anysoftware nothing only the hardware running i dont even see the dos sign i only see my moniter blinking ,sorry but if this happened to u tell me how to fix ! remember i cant see anythig that means i cant even loaad the dos or xp out of it hwlp !!!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!@#

Ok, so whenever you go on the internet the temporary internet files folder will log all the site cookies. Is there anyway once the files are deleted to get them back? Or is there anyway to see where someone is going on the internet even after they've deleted all their history and cookies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive just been given a packard bell pc from a friend hes son had been using it and it has a lot of programs on it that i dont want how do i restore to factory settings without the recovery cds or floppys ive tried all the f keys the f2 gets me into bios but f12 does nowt nor do the others im a pc novice so idiot proof instructions would be good many thanks

I need a new computer base unit.

I don't know whether to buy one from somewhere or bother to build it myself again. So your opinions or advice on where to buy one from for the best price or what specifiacation I should be looking for (or both) would be helpful.

The "Hibernate" feature disappeared from the Power options list. Now I can only Restart, Shutdown, Sleep, etc. I tried System Restore but the feature wasn't among the items restored. I have no confidence that using the recovery section of the hard drive will solve the problem either. I don't have recovery disks made. How do i get my hibernate feature returned (even though using it is a bit of a nuisance on performance, especially with office applications running when its invoked).

I would like to add a simple web application to my site (http://www.psychresidentonline.com/) that will convert benzodiazepine drug dosages. All it needs is (1) a drop-down menu to select the drug your switching from, (2) the dosage of that drug, and (3) another drop-down menu to select the drug you're switching to. Then a "CALCULATE" button that will show the dosage of the drug you've switched to. I know HTML/CSS and some basic programming (I've dabbled in VB). My server (godaddy) doesn't support .php. So, what can I use to make this? This can be a simple client-side application, correct? The program itself is just a little arithmetic using conversion factors. Can this be done with JavaScript? Help. I just don't know where to begin.

I just got Adobe CS2... my question is, do I have to install the entire suite, or can I just put in one disc and download what's on it?
