My main home page is Mozilla FireFox, last night I downloaded a thing so I could watch tv shows and it also downloaded Google Toolbar, now there is a popup that covers almost all the screen that says "thank you for downloading google" I can't get it off, I tried clicking on the red x thing but it just keeps comming back, even when I shut the computer off as soon as I start it up it comes back on, I can't do anything on FireFox with it on, I had to go to my other homepage internet explorer but I don't really like it, all my stuff is on FireFox, I clicked a place on the pop up and it says to get it off I have to click finish but there is no finish button, has anyone had this problem, what did you do to get the thing off?

Computer will restart if i open any program or game that uses a lot of Ram.... Microsoft error message tells me its to update my Bios... i can run fire Fox but not a cad program or Graw 2... need help

yeah i just got of the phone with EA and i was trying to install battlefield 2 and he said i need to update my video card. does anybody know if i can update it online or if i have to buy one and install it to my i pci port.

Here's the dilemma. I have the restore disc but can't seem to get it running on the disc when I start it up. Now I happen to have a virus on the comp that automatically restarts the computer after about a minute I log in. Is there something I can do during startup or am I really just screwed?

I really just want to wipe Windows clean.

So far, I, have been copying and pasting one item at a time from "my Folder" to a flash drive. This is laborious and time-consuming. I would like to transfer all or more than one items to the flash drive.

i've just tried to reboot pc and the monitor is showing to be in power save mode and i can't seem to get the pc to do anything!

screen is blank and pc sounds like it is booting up, but can't get the monitor to come out of power save.

does anyone please know how to fix this?? or at least to access the bias to check the settings... its not allowing me to do any of this.

I have a Packard Bell MZ35-U-005, which was working perfectly fine. I tried to play a dvd at one point, and got an error, even though i have been using the laptop to watch dvds for a while. The error said that the dvd was in use with another program or it asks me to adjust my monitor resolution or color settings. I have tried this even though they are set to normal values. The main confusion though, is that it still detects the drive, and i can still play games and rip music onto my hard drive, so the reader is working fine. Anbody got a suggestion as to the problem, and hopefully a solution?

I've used it many many times before but today it sort of froze my computer and restarted it all by itself. Before shutting down a backweb thing comes out saying cannot start backweb.dll. Today i uploaded new definitions to the adaware program and deleted most backweb files on my computer.

When you use the save feature power point adds 8k to the file, no matter what, but not if you use the save as feature. Why is that? What is that 8k for?
