I can receive emails in Outlook, but cannot send them. I know Vista is the new Windows program, but I am not seeing any difference except Outlook does not work right.

Difference between XP and Vista? Requirements and capabilities. Vista is very new and still has some bugs to be worked out. MS has offered non-technical support for XP for another five years, so many users are going to stay with it, especially those who would have to upgrade their computers.

If you have difficulty in sending Outlook with Vista, my guess is that you have not configured it correctly. Review all tabs.

vista[this is my opiniom] is an upgrade of xp.try setting up or
reconfiguring outlook, try the outlook trouble shooter,if both
ideas don't work you may have to delete the outlook you
