The only thing I can think of - and this will involve a lot of work - is to contact Microsoft -- include --
full explanation
product keys of both CDs to prove validity
customer numbers
order numbers
anything you have to prove you are both legitimate owners

Microsoft might (underline might) allow you to uninstall your sister's software on your PC and reinstall yours - maybe -- this would create some work for them also. If MS agrees to help it might not come free. Might be a service charge of some sort - but you owe it to your sister to straighten out her PC - right? Worst case scenario, you will have to buy your sister new software. You both have my sympathy.

Yes, you can only use the XP key on a single computer at a time. Her license is now activated on YOUR PC.

Oops. Looks like a call to MS is in order.

If you have your own XP CD, with a legit key, you can reinstall with that key and activate by phone. Explain what happened and they should be able to walk you through fixing her PC. Make sure you talk to a real person, not the automated activation.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling yours with the proper disk then getting on the internet to register!!=)then maybe Microsoft will see that your sister only has it on one PC=)
