Probably every 2-3 hours for a couple of minutes my PC virtually stops. When my Task manager finally appears, theres about 8 processes running to do with LiveUpdate. Is there a way to cut these down to maybe Twice a day. I'm running Norton Internet security 2007.
I know I'll probably get answers saying "Get Rid"
but until it runs out, I'd like to find a solution.

No matter what I go into he's sitting there. When I put the pointer on him it turns to the eggtimer. The right click won't work. Does anyone know how I could get rid of him, please?

My older computer crashed and someone said to install windows on top of windows without formatting,but would have to "activate windows","how" is this done?It won't get past a message to re-install windows root system 32 hal.dll,have tried everything and don't have a backup disk,as purchased from someone who is deceased now,so don't know anything about this computer.It is a Dell optiplex and did have Windows XP Home Edition on it,but computer is unaccessable as can't get past this message.I'm on my newer computer asking questions.So how can you install windows on top of windows,and how do you activate windows.This computer repair must take a genious to figure out,very stressful and complicated.Already tried putting the Windows XP home edition Cd in,but won't do anything.

Is there any real hacker can help us out? We have this serious security problem at our home, and it's been 2 years. This guy whose wife is working for CIA, using government software to spy my entire family. It's okay if he just want to spy, but the worst is he keep doing childish things to harm us.
