Your question really does not make sense..... You're saying you have 1 gig of ram and then you mention a 400 mhz computer and 256 of ram..... what are you trying to say??????

If you're running XP with 256 ram, you won't be able to do much. I think you need to 'understand' what you're trying to say before you say it.
