When i am scanning my computer,everytime when there is a virus detected,there will be a windows installer coming out,saying "preparing to install".Why is this so?When i tried to close it,it says cancelling and it hangs there forever.Pls help me

i have a 2.4 GHz processor,1GB ram,80 GB hard disk,256 MB graphics. and i even tried modifying msconfig. and ran a virus scan. but they are all clear.does anyone know how to solve this?

friend of mine has gmail id.She receives mails from a yahoo
id which sends her offending and nude photographs.She does not know
the person and wants that the persons mails do not reach her i.e. the mails
of the person should get bounced.
What can she do to solve the problem?
She wants that the person(the offender) should know that his/her mails are bouncing back

I have a dell machine that got a problem on the mother board (Keyboard controller error). with time my machine couldnt communicate with the keyboard and hunged somewhere when booting.

I got a new Mother board, but i dont want to format my hard disk because i love the programmes that are there en i cant get them.
So with this new mother board in place the machine stops somewhere when booting. Can you assist me on how to use FIXBOOT OR FIXMBR and how to reach there or how to repair without reinstalling.

I've got nearly 100 gigs of MP3's on my PC, needless to say I have extremely low disk space on my computer.

Why are my fans always running? Even before I filled up my

I can't do much online all of a sudden. I went to watch a film on you tube and it said "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player. " I've checked to make sure javascript is enabled and it is. I can't play games on yahoo either. When I went to download adobe flash player. nothing popped up to download. Can anyone help with this problem. I've been searching everywhere for an answer.

What the website that i've been trying to download the flash player says. The yellow bar at the top of my window doesn't pop up anymore.
