why do I get e-mails from mail demon when I haven't even sent mail to the person it says I have?

I keep getting messages from the mail deamon saying that my message is being returned, I dont know the address it was being sent to because I wasnt sending mail to anyone.

ALSO:

I keep getting junk mail from myself. In the subject line it will say something stupid and the sender is myself. Now why in the world would I even want to send junk to myself? Has my e-mail been high-jacked? How do I fix this?

Help on both please.
