how do i disable tabbed browsing from windows registry?

I want to disable tabs for Firefox and Netscape. Is it possible? I prefer to use regular windows.

This is a feature of Mozilla Firefox not of Windows itself so the registry is not where you want to go.

I use a beta Firefox 2.0 but I believe that this is where you'd go in 1.5 as well. Open up firefox
Step 1.Select Tools(Alt-T) or just mouseclick it
Step 2. Select Options with mouse or by pressing O
Step 3. Select Tabs
Step 4. Select the radio button that reads
"New pages should be opened in a new window"

I really do love tabs though but in Firefox 2 it defaults to them. The above instructions will solve your problem.
