Don't listen to everyone that says yes, that's a pretty blanket statement. You can download music that was legitimately made available for free by artists or songs that are in the public domain (maybe some classical music or something) and put it on your iPod completely legally.

I'm not so sure about dowloading it to your ipod, however I download to my computer for my purposes only. If you are not replicating it for another's enjoyment I don't see a problem. Perhaps limewire has a clause that precludes this :(

Yes for songs that are copyrighted, but then again so is azureus and bearshare and shareaza and all those other programs...also, it's no more illegal to play the songs on your iPod than it is to play them on your computer or burn them onto CDs.

yes. downloading even any songs off limewire is illegal and if u get caight u will have to pay.

NO!!!! it si not illegal. people say it is but its not. the only way its illegal is if u download and distribute or sell it on a cd, that is copy right infringment.
but yea go download all the music u want
