can this system see a drive this large?

I have an Athlon 64 3200 processor, Radeon 9600 128mb video card, and 512 ram. I was wondering if it's worth upgrading my video card to a Gforce 7600gs 256mb card or would I need the ram to back it up?
I'm mostly using it for gaming and I was wondering if it would let me up the graphics on BF2, right now I have to run at pretty much the lowest settings and I would like to be able to up the resolution from 800x600.

Would the video card do this for me or do I need the ram to back it up, I'm asking because I'm getting a pretty good price on this card.

I'm not much of a computer person

I know for a fact my graphics card isn't good I'll be upgrading soon.

I have

-AMD athlon 64x2

- dual core processor 3800+

- Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB ( going to upgrade soon )


I Doubt that's much information ,

I'll be getting a geforce 7300 GS , graphics card..is that a good one? from what I've heard it is..

She owns the computer and I have a seperate account as an user with administrative privelges-How do I make sure that the sites I visit, the pics I download are not traced bt her. What directories ont he computer do I have to check? Can she set up in such a way that when I am typing something in Buffalo NY, her brother can track what I do from Illinois or another friend of hers in New Jersey?

I put in 2 new batteries and the indicator is red, and the cursor starts shaking all over the screen. Also, the problem began when I pulled out 2 very, slippery batteries, could the batteries have caused it?

Also, my laptop isn't reading any CD i put in it. It acts like there is no CD at all. I tried cleaning it w/ a cleaning CD and it still didnt work. Then someone said that cleaning CD's aren't good for computers and they might screw it up. I don't know whats going on. Help appreciated. thanks

I havent played in like 4 months and im just trying to reinstall it. When i try to it says im uninstalling it and when it tries to uninstall it has a error and crashes because the game isnt actually there. Any advice i can install it over it because the setup automatically uninstalls. I know i uninstalled it.

I have an ACER Aspire 5002 wLMi Laptop. It's just about a year old and I bought it new for $899 from Staples. I have looked on the web for newer laptops with all the bells and whistles and I have boiled it down to 2 choices: buy a laptop from iBuy for $1800 which would be dual core system or upgrade my ACER for about $500. If it were you and you had the cash, which would you do? If I buy the new laptop, what do I do with the ACER?

I work at a small office and I have been allowed to access my personal email (password protected) and also a sub account under the office email system (password protected) in which I receive email from my family and friends. I have also been allowed to store personal documents on my computer which are password protected (i.e my daughters resume or a letter to my doctor or even a letter of annoyance to my husband) and personal pictures. There is no "office policy" regarding privacy issues at the office. There was no restriction as to what I could use the computer for. I just found out that he is using a virtual screen shot program and/or a keylogger program to monitor the computers. If I knew that this was something that he would ever use I would never access my personal email and definitely would never store personal documents and pictures on the computer at work!! I am annoyed and bitter over this. I feel like my personal life has been violated. What do you think?
