I have Norton and Spy Sweeper and neither one can get rid of it. It flashes in my start-up tray (?) and says "Critical System Error!". Everything that I've read refers you to more programs that cost money to remove it. Is there a less expensive way?

i got a laptop with a 1280 x 768 resolution, and whenever I try 2 read my email on it, it wont load and has an error on the page. I try to "switch back" but the buttons link doesnt work. Is there a link u can send to upgrade or anyother way u can help?

I am supposed to build a system for my aunt next week, but there is one thing which I do not about. The processor. I read the Core 2 Duo series is meant more for the heavy gamers, and given that she isn't exactly a gamer I do not know whether to get a Core 2 Duo 6300 ($190) or the 6600($330). The 6600 has twice as much cache, so if i wanted it for gaming it would be the better choice. However, my aunt wont be doing much FPS gaming lol. At most she will do some Photoshop, so should i go with the 6300? or perhaps bumb it up to the 6400 cuz its still only $230.
Any of you guys have an answer?
(p.s.i have a pretty huge budget so i dont have to get the cheapest stuff)

I get the message "Error occured writing data to disc". I have tried using different types of cd burning software and I get the the same or similiar error messages from all of them.

While typing in Microsoft Works the letters stack directly on top of each other. It is not the Insert or Overtyping key that is doing this. Any help would be appreciated. All other programs such as Word are fine.

On some websites it states your ISP address is being recorded. My question is when I log on it shows my address...shouldn't it be the same number everytime when I log on or does it change everytime? For example when I log on it will show something like this 5.365.21.431 and other times like later in the day or an hr. or so later when logging on it shows a different number. Is this normal or is something up with my computer?

I Did that And Copyed one Word and Still it Says that..It was working the Last time i Used About 4weeks ago...
