Who ya gonna call? Spam Busters? Aint nobody gonna do anything about it! There ARE no laws against spamming as yet! If you are smart you will do like I do. Create a primary email account for close friends and family, and a secondary account for when you need to use an e mail addy to sign up for something! Use a web based mail server for the second account and let them spam it to death!

Unfortanately, there isn't a whole lot you can do. You can report it to the Better Business Bureau, but likely, the spam is from foreign source. The best thing you can do is scroll to the bottom of the email you are recieving, look for the "unsubscibe" link or anything similar, type in the email address they're sending their spam to, and you should be removed. If not, get a lawyer to send a Ceast and Desist.

You could try reporting it to Yahoo, but I doubt theres much they can do. Try turning your spam filter on, if it isn't already. Other than that, spam is part of using the internet, unfortunately.

You can avoid it by not giving your address out to anyone. Personally, I have two. One is for personal stuff, or emails to people/places I know will not pass on my information. The other is for signing up to websites, forums, and anywhere else where the privacy of my information is not certain. At least that way, spam doesn't get mixed in with important things.
