Yahoo and Firefox are not very compatible. I have similar problems, but not very often.
Have you noticed how the cut and paste doesn't work when writing an e-mail?
I questioned Yahoo about this and got an uninformed answer.
I think there is some political reason why Yahoo doesn't want to put any effort into supporting Firefox.

My browser (Internet Explorer 6) crashes only in Yahoo Answers, and then only if I right click and choose Open in a new window. If I just open normally, I have no problems. Never did find out why. If I try to use any version, even the latest, of Netscape Navigator (which is related to firefox) it locks up all the tome on my system.

Same browser and no Yahoo problems for me.
I occasionally have it lock with this new version on sites that use Ajax which the new Yahoo mail does. It isn't consistant, but enough I noticed it. I am sure Mozilla will fix that.

I had a similar situation. it quite is what I did. start up homestead windows, or despite if it quite is working, close homestead windows down, and then turn off the laptop. Restart the laptop. the laptop starts processing a sequence of training everyday because of the fact the common enter/Output gadget (BIOS). what's displayed relies upon on the BIOS producer. some computers reveal a progression bar that refers back to the be conscious BIOS, mutually as others won't reveal any indication that this technique is occurring. as quickly because of the fact the BIOS has finished loading, initiate tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. proceed to attain this till the homestead windows progressed thoughts menu seems. in case you initiate tapping the F8 key too quickly, some computers reveal a "keyboard errors" message. to compliment this, restart the laptop and attempt lower back. employing the arrow keys on the keyboard, scroll to and choose the risk-free mode menu merchandise, and then press enter. you may would desire to be waiting to restoration your comp in risk-free mode
