Here's one way:
Add Yahoo to your favorites. Then, go to your favorites menu in Internet Explorer. Find the link to Yahoo.com and then drag it onto your desktop. You should then see what looks like an Internet Explorer icon but has "Yahoo.com" under it. You can use that to get to yahoo.

Or, you could press "File" and then go down to "Send" and then click "Shortcut to Desktop"

Or, you could make Yahoo.com your homepage by going to "Tools" and then "internet Options"
The top box is "homepage". Type in "http://yahoo.com"
Now, everytime you open internet explorer, Yahoo will be the homepage

Go to File on the menu bar at the top(when you are on the yahoo website) scroll down to Send and there you will click on Shortcut to Desktop

Right click on Yahoo Icon in your program list then select send to (Desktop)

For the yahoo home page? Add it to your favorites and then right click it in favorites and create short cut, drag it to your desktop.

Go to "C"..program files..yahoo...messenger...you'll see yahoo messenger..right click that, point to "send to", then "desktop"
