I have my home page set to Yahoo. I can be reading my mail or looking at something else - a news article for example- and then the page switches back to the Yahoo home page by itself!

It just did it while I was typing this question!

Has anyone else had this trouble? How can I get it to stop? Thanks!

I saved a .pst file to my desktop. How do I open it or get back what I think I saved? I can't seem to import it back to outlook.

Yesterday my computer teacher was using a program to make random pictures of people move their lips to say things. The pictures automaticaly did it when you typed in the words, no animation skills required. He even addded into the program his own voice clip of what we were going to do that day. It was so cool! Now I want to download the program, and I know that it is free because my computer teacher is cheap and wouldn't BUY anything. Well, so am I. So tell me what this program is. Plase don't say I don't know. That's stupid.

As soon as I turn it back on it works fine but I never know when it will conk out again. I have tried removing the battery and reinserting it but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Susan

why do some people .when they get there pay check . or cash from there family . can't wait to rush off to the pc store.& buy computer part's.like add on external hard drive. external dvd drive . pc ram card's.2.0 usb adapter's.wire routers/wireless routers.windows xp 'cd .to go from win98se or win .xp home.too windows professional. then rush home to set up what ever they have buy from the store. spend up to 2 hours trying to fix thing's then can't get it right coz they don't know how too .if they took there pc .too a computer technician .too fix the hard ware it will save them time. as for software like.
windows xp upgrade .all they do is make 1 call and microsoft .will give them the support in how too do the .windows xp upgrade. why do they work like crazzy . for hours .when they can ask for help from some one who knows how too put it all right for them ?

It has been almost a week since the problem occured.While downloading with azureus my downloads stop and the internet is dead.I can't disconnect thought and I have to reboot.I formatted the disk but I did not get rid of my problem.Any ideas?

my keyboard wasn't working, so i unplugged it and tried to plug in a new one, but the new one plugs into the USB port. i tried to plug it in, but it was upside down so it wouldnt go in and then the computer just shuts off and i can't turn it back on. any ideas on what happened? please. help would really be appreciated.

My regular email is linked to my website and thus gives away my company details etc. i chose foxpitt14@yahoo.co.uk for anonymity when there are instances when i don't want to use my business email.....but it prefaces the yahoo address with my name which is quite unusual - therefore defeats the object. have looked at all account settings etc and sent myself test messages, to no avail. should i use hotmail instead??

I use microsoft paint, but it sucks. I know if you have a HP brand scanner it can tint things, but I don't have one. I need a program that's user friendly and better than MS paint. And no smart aleck answers!!!

I have Windows Movie Maker, not sure which version, though. My problem is that when I try to import songs from iTunes (the ones I bought in the store are in .wav format), I get this stupid message saying: [name of file] could not be imported. The selected file is not vaild or is corrupted.

When installing the HP 3310 software, the PC is unable to discover the wireless networked printer because of firewall restrictions. However all firewall software is switched off, therefor I was wondering if there it is a firewall in the SKY (Netgear) wireless router, and if so what is the logon details to get into the router and configure ? No router admin details have been supplied by SKY.
