So I received this email from some random guy asking me to get a next of kin document because someone left me money in their will. I know, I too was like "Yea, okay, delete..." but the guy kept writing back showing me parts of the will, and it turns out I actually know this guy (kind of, he was at a play and we talked for awhile and he said if he had a daughter he would want her to be like me:) ) so... I don't know if I should believe this guy. What do you think? I mean if you were in my situation, if you received these emails and then it turns out you know this guy? This is kinda spooky... How can I tell if this is for real or not?

well i want to know that i am using windows XP on my own PC and than i want to take out that hard disk and switch it to other PC would it work on that PC. if not than what will be the procedure to run it on other pc. is there any file which should be replaced for to run XP in other PC.

i am unable to access the internet from home computer. have a wireless router and second computer which can, but the home unit will not get to net. any possible explanations or files on system that i can check for the cause? will get answers if net works or can use different computer, but may have to wait til tuesday since access will be from library system.

I use cable net. It identifies PCs on the basis of their MAC address. I have MAC address of another computer which is on the same LAN as my PC is. I installed a key logger on my PC as well. Now the problem is that some days before I changed my PC’s MAC address to that other PC’s MAC address. Now I have again changed the MAC address to original (which is actually mine). Now I don’t know how my PC gets other PC’s keyboard strokes. If I run notepad then I can see each and every letter that is typed by their keyboard. One other thing is this that sometimes I see another icon in my ‘My Network Places’s’ properties which is in the internet gateway category. I never did settings of this gateway and it is not there for most of times. But why is it here?? And how can I delete it?? And how can get rid of that keyboard strokes problem??? Please help me…..... One more thing now i have uninstalled keylogger but problem persists :(

For some reason alot of java stuff is no longer working. I downloaded no script and I think it may have messed something up. I deleted it but some buttons on pages and pics do not appear. when i go into javascript console i see alot of errors. i went and downloaded the full java download and still nothing has changed. what should i do?

It asks if I want to save a document after I have already done a "Save as" for that file. (I know I may have hit "Save" by mistake.) But what happens is, I say yes, I want to save the changes to the file I am working with, but then the box shows up for me to create a new file name. even though it already has a name..

On my home computer i used to be able to select a paragraph in an email in one of my Yahoo account, then close it and open another yahoo mail account and paste that paragraph in a reply to someones email. When I try that now nothing gets pasted. I had
