I am shopping for laptops and found one that is affordable and what I am looking for (http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4880360) but not quite sure what the modem transfer rate meant. Is 56 Kbps any good? Thanks in advance for the answers!! :)

If these setings are enabled I get some annoying noise after booting. If the processor's temperature is highre than 20 everything is ok but if the temperature is less than 20 I get that noise.

This problem appears the first time my pc boots I get the short beep to say the system has booted successfully but then I get a long beep until the windows screen appears. After the first time it boots I dont get this beep again until my pc has been off for a period of time.

I haven't been able to sign on for about two days now. I click on the little AIM icon to open AIM and the buddy list opens, but then all it does is say "starting..." above the "Cancel" button, and I never get to completely sign on, so I can't see which ones of my buddies are signed on and I can't IM anybody either. And even though I never sign on completely, I still see the little windows at the lower right corner of my screen when one of my buddies signs on or off. What is happening, and what can I do to fix it?

myspace help pl-pl-please help?
i went to myspace on my new computer and everyone time i try to log in it goes straight to the sign up page. i already have a profile and everything but when i type in my login it doesnt go to it. like can someone at your house like a parent who doesnt want you on can they mess up myspace to where nobody in the house can get on cause i searched for my profile and its still there and its not those myspace error things cause my friends can get on on their computers but i cant. its been going on like this for awhile now

I can only seem to export files to .PDF, but it kills the resultion to 600 dpi. can anyone tell me how to convert it to .TIFF ? once in .tiff i can get it printed at 2400 dpi. graphic converter pro doesn't support .emf.
i've heard about raster write, but i can't seem to install it.
