Use spybot search and destroy or ad-aware personal edition.
Or if you use windows XP, you can restore your PC to a system restore point before the infection.
Use Zone-alarm free edition and Microsoft Windows defender.

Make good backups of your data.
Insert the Windows Operating CD (or RESTORE CD) and reinstall everything after FORMATTING.
This will also make your computer run faster.
You can spend more time looking for removal tools than using the restore disk. So consider my plan carefully. If you do this TODAY, then you will be better prepared the next time that your computer gets TRASHED.

Shoot flaming arrows at it from the city walls before dragging it into the city square. Pesky Trojans, I can't believe they are still trying that trick.

Look on symantec website where you can print off step by step instructions on how to get rid of various nasties. Very good. I've used it a few times myself.

Disconnect from the Internet, otherwise it will keep replicating itself.
Identify all files associated with the virus and delete them one by one.
Keep fingers crossed.
