when deleting cookies, there is a long list of files, some say cookies some say other things. do i need to delete everyone of these files? also, deleting them one by one looks tedious, there are so many. if it has to be done, oh well.

I really want to start a membership with a paid survey because I think that you can make a lot of money off it but a lot of the sites I go to all want me too pay first and it seems like a scam. Does anybody know where to go and who is legitimate and has anybody signed up with PAIDSURVEYETC.COM where you pay 69 or 34 dollars to join and are they just a scam or has anybody actually made money out of it.

When writing an MS-DOS batch file, how could I get the batch to echo something, then echo something else on the same line? For example if I wanted to echo the word "Hello" followed by the contents of a file called NAME.DAT into a new file called HELLO.TXT how would I do it? (This file should then say HelloBob if the file NAME.DAT had the word Bob in it).

My internet explorer closes down quite often. Images disapper in the middle of my viewing pages. My Mozilia Firefox works just fine; it never shuts down. I would like to uninstall and re-install the program however it is not listed on the add/remove programs list. I am using Windows XP. The internet explorer is version 7. Is there any other way to repair my IE? There has to be something wrong if my other brower is working fine. Thanks for any help.

I have a Dell Inspiron that is 1.83 ghz with a gigabyte of RAM and an intel Centrino Duo processor, but when I try to watch a video on youtube for instance, it takes a while to load before I can actually watch it. I also have a wireless connection to cable internet that a desktop computer uses and sometimes my brother uses with his laptop. I have seen computers not as good as mine play the videos on youtube and other sites without having to wait for them to load. Is this a problem with my internet connection or is there some adjustment I can make to my laptop?

i tried downloading those anti-virus things but those things have viruses too!

I'm not sure exactly what one i have, I think its windows media player 9 but i'm not sure. I installed it because my Yahoo! music said that I had to up grade my player, but now I can't even do anything on my windows media player. -MS Office --excel etc..is there but not MS WORD ---it is not on desktop or in short cut...if you look under programs installed not there...can't find it anywhere..HOWEVER if you right click on desktop...you can open up a new MS Word document ..so it still has to be there,,it won't let you piggy back of that to create shortcut etc....it is not in the recycle bin....any suggestions from you computer savvy people???? thanks

My MS-DOS knowledge isn't quite as sharp as I would like it to be, so I need a bit of help with this simple batch file for my own learning.

The batch file must look in the file "EXAMPLE.DAT" and then echo the first line of text from it (which happens to be the only text in it, if that helps) and echo it into the file "OUTPUT.DAT".

I suspect it would be only one or two lines of code, which at some point says something like "echo SOMETHING >> output.dat".

Could answerers please put the working code and if possible an explanation of the code they used into their answers. Thanks.
