My internet explorer closes down quite often. Images disapper in the middle of my viewing pages. My Mozilia Firefox works just fine; it never shuts down. I would like to uninstall and re-install the program however it is not listed on the add/remove programs list. I am using Windows XP. The internet explorer is version 7. Is there any other way to repair my IE? There has to be something wrong if my other brower is working fine. Thanks for any help.

if you search the net for IE problems and see that there are millions of people struggling then why would you want to stick to explorer?
Btw Mozilla Firefox seems like Netscape to me, see google's Firefox instead: http://www.sleekbytes.com/search_the_web_with_google.htm

If you boot from the original install CD, there should be a repair option. Assuming, of course, your computer came with a CD.
