Im trying to get a screenshot of an object in 3dmax so i can texture it but everytime i try print screen button, it doesnt seem to work. Do i need a certain program for that to work, if so what or is there another way to do it?

It ends up on your clipboard....ready to paste into whatever application your using to manipulate your image.
word, paintshop, adobe etc etc

You can use the PrtSc button then open paint and choose paste or you can go somewhere like www.download.com and download one of the many programs they have there to do screen captures.
Note that some will be free and some will be shareware.

Press the PrtScn button on your keyboard (that will copy whatever is on the screen)
Open a new MS Word document
Right-click and select Paste from the menu... and that's it!

hold ctrl and hit the print screen key then open word or word pad paint ect and choose paste annd there is your screen shot

Hey Man, just look for "Prt Scr Sys Rq" on ur keyboard. and just passte it to a word document, or in paint.

you can try snagit, that may work, search on web, for snagit, they usually have a free trial period
